The Hotel Daunou Opera is located just a five-minute walk from the Musée du Parfum Fragonard. This fascinating museum invites you to take a free guided tour and discover the history and secrets of perfume making and packaging.
The Fragonard Perfume Museum in a few words
In 1926 the perfumer Eugène Fuchs acquired a former tannery in the town of Grasse and converted it into a perfume factory. Fuchs called his enterprise Fragonard in honour of the famous local painter and sculptor Alexandre-Évariste Fragonard. This perfumery developed and was passed down from generation to generation, becoming an institution and a brand noted for excellence in the world of perfume.
Nestled in the heart of Paris, the Musée du Parfum Fragonard reveals the secrets of every stage of perfume manufacture, from the raw ingredients to the final finished product.
