The Salon du Chocolat: an amazing gourmet experience!
From October 28th to November 1st, 2017, the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre hosts one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of the year: the Salon du Chocolat. This huge and wide-ranging trade fair offers the delicious opportunity to admire – and taste – the creativity of the finest chocolatiers in the world. For its 22nd edition, the event will occupy a gourmet-friendly exhibition space of more than 20,000 m2. More than 200 pastry chefs from around the world will be present this year. Visitors will also be able to meet cocoa producers, participate in cooking workshops, see demonstrations of the pâtissier’s art and attend the jaw-dropping spectacle that is a fashion parade in which all the dresses worn by the models are actually made of chocolate.
Paris Photo 2017: the art of photography through history
The biggest international art fair devoted entirely to the photographic medium, Paris Photo, returns from November 9th to 12th, 2017 to the nave of the Grand Palais. For four days, professionals, amateurs and collectors in the field of photography will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in the history of photographic art and creativity. To present the first photographs dating from the 19th century to the most recent works, Paris Photo brings together photographers, galleries, publishers, curators, critic and historians to present exhibitions, talks and other events in the wonderful setting of the Grand Palais. At the same time a complementary selection of exhibitions in locations throughout Paris will feature some of the world’s most important photographic collections.
